Career Educators — goal setting for Pre-K to 12th grade
Career Educators is a positive goal-setting program for kids Pre-K to 12th grade. A student picks three careers they are curious about, sees themselves in each one, and takes home a career guide — with the subjects, the schooling and the pay that go with it.
How it works
- 1Enter your class code
Your teacher gives this to you. - 2Choose a career
Browse by what interests you. - 3Add a photo
Take one or upload one. - 4Get your career guide
Pick your favorite career picture and print your guide.
Bring Career Educators to your School.
A class at a time.
Every teacher gets their own class code, their own roster and their own gallery. Teachers can see their class and nothing outside it; administrators see their school and nothing outside that.
Nothing to install.
It runs in a browser on whatever the school already has — Chromebooks, iPads, a laptop cart. Teachers add students from a roster, or students join with the code.
It can pay for itself.
Families and local businesses sponsor a class through a letter your teachers print. Every sponsorship is attributed to the class that raised it, so a school can see which rooms are doing well and thank the people who helped.
The plan is the point.
Each child finishes with a printed career guide carrying their picture, their career, and what it actually takes to get there — the subjects, the training, the pay — ending in a worksheet they fill in themselves. It goes home, and it stays on the refrigerator.
