What we collect

• Your first name, last name and grade.
• An email address or a mobile number — whichever you use to sign in. You don't need both.
• The class code you entered, which tells us your school and teacher.
• The photo you upload or take, and the career images made from it.
• The careers you choose and the career guides you create.

What we do with your photo

Your photo is used to create career portraits of you and one professional headshot for your private profile. It is sent to an AI image service to do that. It is never posted publicly, never sold, and never used for advertising.

Who can see your work

• You, when you're signed in.
• Your teacher, for the students in their own class.
• Program administrators, for support and safety.

Your profile is private. There is no public gallery and no student directory.

Location data

We remove location information from your photo when you upload it. We do not track where you are.

How long we keep it

Student photos, generated images and career guides are kept for 365 days and then deleted automatically. Your school can choose a shorter period.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it from your profile page. A parent, guardian or teacher can also request deletion — email support@careerday.online. You can also ask for a copy of your data.

Permission

Depending on your school's settings and your grade, a parent or guardian may need to give permission before you can create images. Your teacher will tell you if that applies to your class.
